I was born in Monterey, California in 1952 to a Navy officer and his wife. Anyway, the less said about my childhood, the better. I left home the day after I graduated high school and drove to California to be a hippy for the rest of my life. That didn’t work out, so I eventually went to college and law school. I thought if I lived to be 40, that would be a good long life for me. Instead, I’m in my 70s and still going.
